Meg StoutMeg Stout is a writer, poet, digital marketer, tea enthusiast, and all-around bookish sort based in Portland, Maine.

Currently an MFA candidate in poetry at Warren Wilson College, Meg also works by day as a marketing technologist—wrangling software and indulging her passion for problem-solving. She first began taking writing seriously after attending the New England Young Writers Conference at Bread Loaf in high school. She then went on to earn a BFA in creative writing from the University of Maine at Farmington, where she served as an editorial intern at Beloit Poetry Journal and Yankee Magazine. Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of marketing roles, including nearly ten years of experience in copywriting for businesses and nonprofits.

Meg’s poetry and hybrid pieces have appeared in the Baltimore Review, Salt Hill, Sweet, and Sandy River Review.
